Description

Occupational Safety Card Webinar in English

Date: May 4, 2026 (for other dates click here) Time: 08:30 – 15.30 (GMT +2 Finnish time)

The Occupational Safety Card

In Finland, many fields such as construction and industry require The Occupational Safety Card (“Työturvallisuuskortti” in Finnish, issued by TTK). Consequently, holding the card opens more job opportunities and often makes employment possible. Moreover, the training teaches basic information about workplace dangers as well as occupational health and safety in shared environments.

Training and Certification

When you complete the training (7 hours + exam OR 4 hours + exam), you receive a personal Occupational Safety Card valid for 5 years. Additionally, the course runs in English and takes place online in real time on the scheduled date and time. To participate, you must use a computer, tablet, or mobile phone and ensure a stable internet connection.

7-hour course (+ exam)

You should take the 7-hour Occupational Safety Card webinar if:

  • You have never completed the course before, or
  • Your existing safety card has already expired.

4-hour course (+ exam)

On the other hand, you should take the 4-hour Occupational Safety Card renewal course if you already hold a valid card (not expired on the webinar date). In this case, you must provide your safety card number and write it on the reservation form. The 4-hour course qualifies equally with the 7-hour course.

Schedule

We hold both courses on the same day. The 7-hour course starts at 8:30 a.m., while the 4-hour course starts at 11:30 a.m. Finnish time. Both courses end at 15:30. Immediately afterward, you take the Occupational Safety Card exam online, which usually takes 10–30 minutes. Once you finish the exam, you may leave the webinar. The very same day you can activate your mobile safety card.

Course Fee

  • 119 € + 0% VAT (EU companies: reversed VAT, VAT number required) = 119 €
  • 119 € + 25.5% VAT (non-EU companies + companies in Finland) = 149.35 €
  • 119 € + 25.5% VAT (private individuals) = 149.35 €

Private individuals pay the course fee during registration (cash or credit card accepted). Companies receive an invoice. Both the 7-hour and 4-hour courses cost the same.

Registration and Confirmation

After you book, you receive a confirmation email. Then, at least 4 days before the webinar, we send you a link to the webinar, additional information, and a course book (PDF format). You should click the link about 5–15 minutes before the webinar begins.

Training Goals

By the end of the training, you will:

  • Know the principles of occupational safety and health in a common workplace.
  • Be able to identify risk and stress factors at work.
  • Understand the principles of safe and healthy working.
  • Recognize the importance of human actions for occupational safety.
